About VICO

VICO has built the world's first AI-driven probabilistic forecasting and scenario generation platform designed to provide decision superiority for financial institutions, governments, and strategic decision-makers. Our forecasts are available on the Bloomberg Terminal and already in use by finance and government customers.

We are a venture capital funded, revenue generating, fast-growing AI company entering our customer delivery phase and are looking for a founding federal sales leader to help bring VICO to the U.S. government market.

About the Role

We are hiring a Head of Federal Sales to drive adoption across defense, intelligence, and federal civilian agencies.

You will be responsible for originating and closing commercial relationships with:

  • Defense and intelligence agencies
  • Combatant commands and joint staff
  • Federal civilian agencies with geopolitical and risk mandates
  • Defense contractors and systems integrators

What You'll Do

  • Build and own VICO's federal sales pipeline from origination to close
  • Navigate government procurement vehicles (OTAs, SBIRs, GWACs, GSA schedules)
  • Develop account strategies for priority agencies and commands
  • Work closely with leadership to refine federal product positioning
  • Represent VICO at government conferences and industry events

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in federal sales, business development, or government affairs — ideally in defense tech, intelligence, or national security analytics
  • Deep existing relationships across DoD, IC, or relevant civilian agencies
  • Experience selling data products, analytics platforms, or AI/ML capabilities to government customers
  • Familiarity with government procurement and contracting processes
  • Active security clearance preferred; willingness to pursue required

Compensation

$150,000 - $250,000 + company options, with opportunity for compensation tied to revenue performance.

Compensation will vary based on experience, performance, and location.
